If an event registration category is sold out, please use the waitlist option to be placed in the queue for possible registration.  You do not need to pay the registration fee to join the waitlist; you will only pay it if you complete the registration process once you're notified that there is an opening.

Mayne Island has some wonderful water for all levels of paddlers. Campbell Bay has gorgeous sandstone formations at a level II/III paddling. For those
more adventurous we have Active Pass and Boat Pass. Prevost Island is always popular. James Bay on Prevost has been a site for an overnight trip in the past. The Belle Chain are a wonderful excursion.  You can paddle in the salt water of the Canadian Gulf Islands and be amazed at the sights and sounds of eagles and seals. The ferries traveling back and forth between Victoria and Vancouver BC almost brush as they pass each other in Active Pass. Only a day’s travel from Portland (about 10 hours including ferry), this is one of the most beautiful places for camping and paddling.

You will find event information on the OOPS website here.

Trips: None below level 2 and can be higher.  The currents can be strong and some experience in moving water is needed.   Please see our trip rating system and suggested skills
