OOPS Trip Organizers and Instructors

Trip Organizers and Instructors are critical to the success of this club!

If you want to become a Trip Organizer, please inform Education@oopskayak.org to let us know of your interest. Training includes completing classroom and on-the-water sessions and leading three or more mentored paddles. The Board will vote on your full TO status after completing these criteria and receiving a recommendation from the Trip Organizer Committee.

Trip Organizers

The following dedicated members are willing and able to organize club trips.  Ask them to organize your proposed trip by e-mailing organizers@oopskayak.org

Advanced Trip Organizers

The following members have the experience, training, and certification that qualifies them to lead trips in Level 3 or above conditions (see Trip Rating System).   Ask them to organize your proposed trip by e-mailing advanced_organizers@oopskayak.org

Wet Exit Certifiers

This group of Trip Organizers are authorized to test and approve people for their Wet Exit Certification requirement.

Wet Exit Certification Instructors

This group of Trip Organizers are authorized to create new wet exit certifiers
