Narrative: Launch from beach at camp. Paddle south along coast of Orcas (approx 5 mi), then cross Spring Passage to Jones Is (approx 1 mi). Lunch break with some time to explore Jones. Return by same route.

Wind strength: Level 2: 7-12 knots (14 mph) – wind noticeably effects movement of paddle

Rating Comments: Because of timing, we'll likely have opposing currents, but the west coast of Orcas should provide sufficient eddies to enable paddling without too much difficulty. We'll monitor wind strength on the 5th, as that could alter trip rating.
