This trip is limited to members with a wet exit certification (except for level 1 trips when the paddler is not using a spray skirt).  To successfully register you will need to sign into your OOPS member account, and your account will need to be a member of the "Wet Exit Certified" group.

    Activity Title: Skillbuilder: Willamette Falls
    Date of Activity: 8/16/2019
Narrative: Join me and Shawn Altman Friday afternoon for my last mentored TO trip! We will launch from Sportcraft Landing (by ENRG) and paddle to the beaches across the river. Here we will do some edging and bracing exercises in flat water to improve our boat control. Then we will make our way upstream and (challenge by choice) bring that improved boat control into the currents.
From there I would like to work on setting up a safe play environment and using towed rescues to manages swims in a dynamic environment.
