Narrative: This paddle is for folks going on the Hammersly Inlet paddle and camping on Hope Island.

We will launch from Hope Island and circumnavigate Squaxin Island in the dark. Paddlers will need (1) a waterproof headlamp or flashlight; (2) two glow sticks, one blue and one yellow, and (3) a means of attaching 1 glow stick to top of the paddler’s hat or helmet and a means of attaching other glow stick to the bow of paddler’s kayak.

    1934 Sunset
    2005 End of civil twilight
    2140 Moonrise (Waning Gibbous)

We'll have to wait and see how much smoke and ash there is in the air and how said smoke and ash impacts the ambient light.
