Narrative: We'll launch from Rogers Landing, at the south end of Newberg, and head upriver toward Ash Island. We can paddle up the west side of Ash, grabbing a cache along the way and maybe spot some of the local wildlife. We'll go half a mile or so past the island to find a nice spot for lunch or just head back to the south end of the island, which usually has a gravelly beach that should work. After lunch, as the group wishes, we can try to hunt down another cache on the outside of the island, or just head back to the launch.
