Narrative: Clockwise circumnavigation of Bachelor Island from Ridgefield Kayak launch (not the marina). Initial part of the journey will be downstream on the Lake River, then against the current on the SW Bachelor Island slough. Enter the Columbia from the slough & enjoy the current assist to the end of the island. We'll then turn East & paddle against the lake River current back to the launch site.
Lunch stop wil be along one of the sandy beaches. Bring snacks, lunch, drinks & binoculars for closer inspection of wildlife.
