This trip is limited to OOPS members who are WEC (unless exempt under Activity policy F.1.).  To register, you'll need to log into your member account on the OOPS website.

Narrative: Our final 2017 Warm-up Wednesdays will be a trip on the Tualatin River. Our eight-mile round-trip route will take us west from Cook's Park to  the National Wildlife Refuge and back.  If you haven't paddled the Tualatin, you might be surprised at how remote it feels considering its location.   We’ll be on the water by 10:00 a.m. and off around 2:00 p.m. The current should be light and easy to paddle against. Bring snacks or a lunch. We’ll take a break at the Hay 99 access point or closer to the refuge. Parking is free at Cooks Park; there are restrooms available.   Follow the Cooks Park road past the ball field parking lots to the river parking lot.
