Please join us as we head out for one of our favorite paddles. We'll launch from the small park near the ferry terminal on the SE of the island and do a clockwise paddle around Puget Island. There will likely be some current to play in as well as some quieter waters where we can play with our strokes and just enjoy the quiet. A variety of birds and maybe a seal or sea lion might be found along the way.

Rating Comments:: Because of the winter conditions, this will be a high level 2 paddle. Only 1 good landing spot is available on this roughly 13 mile trip. There are wing dams along the Oregon side of the island and a ferry that can pose a hazard.  Bring a thermos with a warm beverage (coffee/tea/cocoa/soup) for warm-up at the break, and bring a lunch or a snack.  A VALID DISCOVER PASS IS REQUIRED to park at the put-in/take-out.
