Narrative::
Please join Joe Howell and me for easy journey around Ross Island and vicinity next Wednesday. Weather is predicted to be mostly sunny with a high of 74°. Water temp is currently 65°. I'm wearing hydroskins, others may choose a dry or wet suit. Dress for your comfort level. We'll spend our time viewing the hustle/bustle of downtown Portland from the calm waters of the Willamette while enjoying sightings of various waterfowl, possibly a rogue sea lion or two (I saw one at Oregon City 2 days ago) and a 219' submarine we can cruise by to give our long kayaks some new perspective. Parking at Willamette Park in Portland is $1 per hour from 9-5. Use zone 1441 if you're using the Parking Kitty app. Restrooms are available. Total water time will be approx 2-3 hours.
