Full Name::
Joe Howell
Narrative::
Take advantage of this weather and join me, Thursday, for a paddle out of Rogers Landing County Park. We'll meet at 9:15 (or as early as you need to be ready for a 10 a.m. launch). We will paddle upstream inside of Ash Island and continue toward the mouth of the Yamhill, which is about 4 nautical miles. There are usually several heron to see along the way, as well as the occasional raptor. We can poke our bows into the Yamhill, if so desired, and likely cross the river to the usual landing for a lunch break. After lunch, we'll head back down river to our takeout.
