Full Name:: Kerry Smith
Narrative:: This should be a pleasant early spring kayak trip in Lake Merwin. Starting at the Speelyai Bay Park boat launch, we will paddle east along the North Shore of Lake Merwin and cross over to Cresap Bay then into the winding upper lake channel to the outlet of Canyon Creek. There should be many waterfalls along the upper lake channel. The lake level is usually high this time of year, but we should be able to find stretch of beach 1/2 mile before reaching Canyon Creek for a lunch break.
