Full Name:: Paige Light-Powell

Narrative:: Cap off a beautiful spring weekend with Paige and Brenda and a paddle to the Narrows. We'll meet at the Willamette Park Boat ramp in West LInn, paddle up to the confluence with the Tualatin river and potentially play a bit in the current and eddys there, then paddle up to the narrows for some play in the currents. The gauge is 55.74 above the falls today (Thursday) and should be a bit lower by Sunday, making for some lively water but nothing too intense. The river is still very cold, so dry suits are required, layer up underneath, and plan to wear a helmet. We have a few extras so let me know if you need to borrow one. There's a less than 10% chance of rain before 5 pm, day temperatures 52-57, very little wind in the current forecast. Bring a snack and a warm drink, and join us for lunch nearby after if you'd like.
