Full Name:: Steve Blackwood
Narrative:: We will put in at the Beaver Boat Ramp in Clatskanie Or and paddle down the slough to the Clatskanie River and follow it to the Columbia River. The river will open up to the beautiful vistas of the mid-Columbia River. We will travel around the Wallace Is in a counterclockwise direction. On the return to the Clatskanie River, we will circumnavigate the Anunde Is, Currents should be mild the distance is about 12.5 nautical miles or 13.8 statute miles.
We can find a beach for lunch on the west end of Wallace. This is a easy paddle for conditions distance is the only thing that is upper level, but we will go at an easy pace.
Last time I was at the beaver boat ramp they charged $5.00 cash for parking. There is a toilet at the put in.
