OOPS is going back to the Sunshine Coast in BC again in July 2026!
If you have been to this location on our previous trips in 2019 and 2023 you already know what great paddling options are available.
Blessed with relatively warm ocean water, abundant sunshine and beautiful scenery, the area is a paddler's joy, islands and inlets beckon. Seals, geese, eagles and sometimes porpoises and whales can be seen in this beautiful area on the mainland of B.C., just north of Vancouver.
There are many launch locations along a 20 miles stretch of coastline, inlets and harbors. Most of the trips will be Level 2 with limited options for Level 1 trips. There are also some options for Level 3 trips. All paddles, with the exception of Sechelt Inlet, are ocean events so conditions can change quite a bit from day to day.
In 2023 we were able to offer 3-4 trips options each day and get everyone out on the water and enjoyed great weather as well. There are options for off the water activities and lots of dinning and offsite accommodations available in addition to our reserved sites at Bayside RV Park and Campground in Sechelt.
