Narrative::
Why not do a longer paddle on the Shortest Day of the Year? We'll meet at Cathedral Park and paddle up the Willammette to the Burnside Bride and then turn back. There is a $5 fee to Park at Cathedral Park and there are restrooms there. We'll have lunch at the beach near the Steel Bridge. This paddle will be at a good pace and you should be able to paddle at 3+ mph for 14 miles. We'll stop as needed for a few breaks along the way. You must have a properly outfitted sea Kayak at least 14 feet in length. Drysuits with proper insulation underneath required. Helmets are optional. Towbelts and VHF marine radios requested.
