Narrative::
This trip will start at the Ridgefield Kayak launch. The group will paddle north to the Columbia River in Lake River. We will cross the Columbia River to Warrior Rock Lighthouse. The nearby beach will be a good spot for a break. After the break we will paddle downstream on the Columbia to Sand Island, where we will follow the river shoreline of the island before turning at the end of the island and paddling to the beach near the boat docks. We will take a lunch break in the picnic area. After the lunch break we will continue following the island’s shoreline upstream up to the Warrior Rock lighthouse, before recrossing the Columbia River to Lake River and back to the take out at the kayak launch.
