If swell is low we'll explore rocky shorelines to Cape Meares and back. If we have medium conditions, we will play in the soup zone, hoping for some rolls and self-rescues. A Netarts Bay paddle is a Plan B.
This is intended to be no more than a level three trip. The conditions listed are the possible conditions to expect for a coast paddle. As it is impossible to gauge the conditions of the day until that day and up until the decision to launch is made.
This is an opportunity for folks who want more practice challenging themselves in open ocean launch conditions.
