Full Name: Kent Slawson
Narrative: Note to trip Czar: This easy loop paddle is proposed for Monday 5/26, but can be added to the calendar on any other day of the event with time adjustments if wind/weather limit other trips.

This is a loop paddle, around the saltwater influenced Sloughs of the lower. Chehelis river. The area is designated preserve of Sitka Spruce dominated wetlands. It looks to be a really scenic without development. The loop will take us a short distance down the Blue Slough to the Chehelis river and then a short distance up river we will paddle up Preachers Slough to a point we can squeeze our way back into the Blue slough at higher water. Total distance is about 7miles. I expect plenty of landing opportunities, however, they may be muddy. The launch is about 20 minutes west of Hoquiam and convenient to folks who are continuing west to the interstate to get home.
