Full Name:
Steve Blackwood
Narrative:
We will meet at the Hoquiam River East Fork Boat Launch where we will drop our gear and boats. Then we will drive down to the takeout at the Morrison Street Riverfront Park to leave our cars. We will get as many as possible into as few cars as possible to return to our put in, where we will launch. This is a paddle downstream thru the woodlands before we emerge into the town of Hoquiam. Once we enter into Hoquiam town we will lunch at the Levee Street Boat launch. From there we will paddle on to the mouth of the river and emerge out at Renee Island. Once we are in the Harbor we will follow the shoreline of Aberdeen to the Morrison Riverfront Park. This trip is 8.6 Nautical Miles or about 10 statute miles. It will be a easy paddle down the river and we should pick up some tidal push once we enter the Harbor. Toilets are limited, mostly buses will be our options.
Arrive at the East Fork Boat Ramp at 8:30 am. and unload. Discover Pass is recommended.
