Full Name: Ken Sund
Narrative: Let's take advantage of an incoming tide at the Cascade Head river mouth and decide to practice wet exits and rescues in current and maybe also in small waves. If you're kind of new to currents you may just enjoy getting the feel of your boat in this type of environment. This might be called "challenge by choice" I've noticed that OOPS has been conducting lots of pool sessions and this would be a great opportunity to try your skills in dynamic colder water. I encourage you to check your preferred website data for surf forecast, wind, weather and temperatures. It is cold so you may want to bring a few layers and be sure to eat a breakfast. This is not a surfing paddle. If you want to surf please form a separate group.
More details as the day gets closer and the conditions change or stay similar to forecast.
