Narrative:
This is a 'Second Saturday SSTIKS Paddle' for traditional enthusiasts who are interest in Greenland Paddling, and/or are interested in the SSTIKS event in June. Last month was listed with the Mountaineers, so this month we will list it with OOPS.
We will put in at the Boons Ferry Marina, on the S side of the Willamette at the I-5 bridge. We will take out at Willamette Park, West Linn. A shuttle is required and we have a person who is not paddling that can take 4 people back to the put-in when we are done.
The total distance is 9.5 miles. This stretch of the Willamette is good wildlife viewing, and we will go through the Willamette Narrows so hopefully will find an eddy or two to play in. While this is not a class, there will be people who can answer questions if desired. If you would like to borrow a Greenland Paddle, let the TO know.
Please do not sign up for this and then cancel last minute or no-show.
