Full Name: Ken Sund Narrative: Join a few other L-3 and above paddlers to practice skills in the surf zone. We will take advantage of possibly 2' surf at 12 seconds with an incoming tide. Paddlers should have some experience in the surf. A review of surf zone safety on u-tube is helpful. Helmets and drysuits required. Please be on time as this paddle is tidal dependent. Carpool and pay attention to the road conditions for possible ice. Icy road forecast cancels the paddle. I don't want paddlers crashing on the way here. Surf isn't worth it. For L- 3 all are waitlist until my co-TO and I approve you and give you a password link to register. It will be cold. Layer thickly. We will paddle during the incoming tide but there are always rips that will be dangerous to swim or rescue in. If not familiar with tide rips, look it up and understand it before coming.
