Full Name: Greg Lamberg
Narrative: Join Greg Lamberg and Kerry Smith on this 14.5 mile Circumnavigation of Hayden Island. We'll launch from Broughton Beach and do a CCW circumnavigation of the Island. The last 5 miles will be against a 1.5kt - 2kt current and is a bit of a slog, hence us calling this a fitness paddle. We'll want to keep an average pace for the paddle of 3+mph, so you need to be a strong paddler for this one.

Bring radios and tow ropes if you've got 'em. If something unexpected happens we could end up paddling near or after sunset. Bringing a flashlight is required.

Please have ample layering under your drysuit and keeping a hot beverage with you is a good thing to do.

A Note from the Trips Director: Greg is leading a tough Level 2 paddle. This is a great opportunity for strong paddlers that want to have some fun and get some exercise. Please be sure you feel capable of a good 5 hour workout.
