Lopez Island
August 21-25
The reservation system for our preferred campground changed this year so we haven't been able to book sites yet. We'll know by the end of April, thanks for your patiences.
Paddling days will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday
General registration opening the end of April
Trip Organizers who have been approved to lead trips for the Event and their partner will be able to register earlier.
Visit the quietest of the major San Juan Islands - a 50 minute ferry ride from Anacortes (6 scheduled ferries daily - watch for url in future emails). The Lopez landscape blends forests with rolling farmlands, quiet bays and driftwood-strewn beaches with distant views of mountain ranges. We will reserve the group camping site at Odlin County Park - a location offering sandy beaches and a launch site. Lopez Island offers a variety of paddling options (moderate to challenging) - with paddles planned Friday through Sunday. There are also opportunities for beach-combing, hiking, bicycling and shopping at the Farmer’s Market.
