Full Name:
Bob Freshman
Narrative:
Join Dave Smith and myself for a trip from the Sauvie Island Boat Ramp on the Multnomah Channel to Kelly Point at the confluence of the Willamette and Columbia Rivers. This paddle starts on the Multnomah channel going past a large number of houseboats and farmland. We then connect with the Willamette River going through an interesting combination of industrial on one side of the river and farmland on the other. Our lunch break will be at Kelly Point Park at the junction of the Willamette and Columbia Rivers before returning to our launch point. Weather forecast is for 75 degrees, sunny and calm winds. Total trip will be in the 11 mile range but should be a fairly easy paddle overall.
