Narrative:
Starting at Vancouver Lake Regional Park out to the entrance of Lake River, continuing around Turtle Island and returning to the Regional Park - 4 NM
This is a pleasant paddle trip on Vancouver Lake. The Regional Park is easily accessible from I-5 following Mill Plain Blvd to the west. The fall colors should be in full display around the lake and on Turtle Island. There usually are many species of water foul in the lake, including Canada Geese, Whooping Cranes, ducks and other migratory birds. There is a possible mid-way take out spot near the entrance to Lake River.
