TO Full Name: Ken Sund Narrative: Join Ken Sund, Joe Howell and a variety of retirees squeezing the last bits of flexibility and stamina out of our experienced bodies. Challenge your luck on Friday the 13th. I will fine tune where we go once the date gets closer as conditions change a lot at Cascade Head. We may paddle north and head through some big arches, land on a rocky beach near a waterfall, and see Stellar Sea Lions. Or we may paddle south into rarely visited rock gardens, land in a crescent cove, do some rock garden rescue practice, paddle through (Las Vegas) lots of slots and make it to the reefy area at the north end of Roads End. We can also surf if conditions look like fun. We will take advantage of a very small (2') tidal exchange and small predicted wave size (3') I suggest plastic boats for this but any long kayak works well here- just don't hit rocks too hard. Helmets required. Meeting Time: 8:00:00 AM Launch Time: 8:30:00 AM Type of activity: Paddle Trip Put in: 2341 N. Three Rocks Rd.
