Full Name:
Steve Blackwood
Narrative:
If you are working on your roll this is a chance for you to practice with some spotting help and suggestions on how to complete the roll.
Requirements for the class are a face mask that covers your eyes and nose. A diving mask is best but if you don't own one you can get by with nose plugs, but I strongly urge you to get a diving mask. The first thing on getting a roll is feeling comfortable upside down in your kayak and not rushed.
Second thing is to watch this YouTube clip.
or any others you can find on YouTube. Watching videos helps you visualize how the roll works.
A helmet is required.
Optional equipment is earplugs if you have problems with water in your ears.
