Full Name: Jon Light-Powell
Narrative:

The days are getting shorter and I'm a near out of porter.
Some fools made a TO of me.

Identify that song parody for 10 points...... OR:

Come join Jon and Paige for a early-afternoon wet wednesday. We are going to take advantage of this unusual weather to go explore the Ross Island Lagoon. Jon will try and get some facts and info about the lagoon.
We will launch from Willamette Park in Portland. You will have to pay for parking. We will go counter clockwise around Ross Island. We will enter the lagoon and look at what Man has wrought on this river landscape.
Depending on how people feel, we will head on around Ross Island, stopping somewhere for lunch. (So bring a lunch and water)

This is a Wet Wednesday Paddle. As such it is an Level 1 paddle open to everyone. If you are not Wet Exit Certified but wish to be, you can do that on this paddle. What Fun !! Get a Wet Exit Candidate Ticket !!

The water is still warm and (hopefully) the sun is still out. Since this is a mid-day paddle we will probably not have the evening North wind to deal with.
