Full Name: Thomas Waldron
Narrative: Join Teresa and Tom for a paddle around the Hunting Islands on the Columbia River. The Hunting Islands are part of the Julia Butler Hansen Wildlife Refuge.

Leaving from Vista Park in Skamokawa, we’ll paddle down Steamboat Slough behind Price Island and then follow the WA coastline until we reach Elochoman Slough. The slough will take us down the east side of Hunting Islands to the southernmost tip where we’ll stop for lunch. On the return we’ll paddle along the west side of Hunting Islands to the WA coastline, then along the Columbia side of Price Island back to Vista Park. Mileage is 10+ nm.

Bring a tow rope if you have one.
