Full Name: Denise Harrington
Narrative: Join us for the last daytime clamming tide of the season! It is a -.14 tide at 7:30 a.m., so that means a 7 am launch at the transient dock in Garibaldi. You'll need a shellfish license if you plan on clamming or crabbing. If you let me know ahead of time, I'll provide baited crab pots for those who want to give it a try.

Paddling distance to the sandbar is less than a mile, three miles round trip to allow for some noodling.

After clamming and crabbing, we will head up to my house in Garibaldi to process what we foraged and eat lunch. Bring a cooler with an ice pack just in case you get lucky.

Our miles paddled will count as part of the Oregon Shores Conservation Coalition Surf & Sun, Paddle & Run fundraiser for coastal education, stewardship, and conservation. OOPSTERS have already raised over $400. Thank you! (https://oregonshores.org/programs-campaigns/surf-sun-virtual-walk-run/)
