Full Name: Steve Blackwood
Narrative:

Join Steve and Wendy for another evening at the falls for some skill building. We will practice rescues and bracing. This will mean that everyone will fall out of their boat and get back in. If you are ready to improve your comfort in fast water this is the place. After some rescue and bracing practice, we will head up to the falls to experience what it is like to paddle in fast currents. This is a chance to learn and build your confidence in conditions that are above your comfort level and have some fun,

The water is in the mid 60es, and it is evening time, so emersion protection is required.. I think a drysuit is best but if you tend to be more of a polar bear a farmer john is ok. A helmet, PFD, and spray skirt are required.,
This is busy boat ramp so we will need to keep out of the traffic using the boat ramp. Parking can be challenging but it is free. Fishing boats can sometimes block our access to the falls, but we will do our best to find play areas.
