Narrative:
Departing the launch at Rogers Landing in Newberg we will make our way along the west side of Ash Island enjoying flora & fauna on the channel. Then entering the the Willamette River in earnest as we paddle to the mouth of the Yamhill River. Expect to see GBH and, maybe, a raptor or two. Turning around and returning to the launch we plan to stop for lunch on the east side of Ash Island. Bring a chair, just suggesting. After lunch it is about a half hour paddle back to Rogers Landing.
