Narrative:
Please join Bob Freshman and me for a paddle up the Willamette. We'll launch from Willamette Park in Portland and paddle upstream to Geo. Rogers Park in Lake Oswego. We'll pass house boats, Elk Island and paddle under a train trestle before arriving at Geo Rogers Park where we can lunch before heading back. There are picnic tables and restrooms available. Total distance will be about 8 miles. There is a fee for parking from 9am to 5 pm. Credit cards accepted. We'll meet at the park's boat ramp. Spray skirts are required for this level 2 trip as are boats over 14' long.
