Narrative:
Come and explore Wallace Island Marine Park located in the Trincomali Channel between Salt Spring and Galiano Islands. Our journey will begin at the Hudson Point boat ramp just north of Fernwood on the east side of Salt Spring Island. From there we'll make a 1 mile crossing to Wallace Island's south-eastern tip and continue counter-clockwise along its eastern shoreline exploring the many coves and beaches on the island. We'll then paddle west between Wallace and Strawberry Island to Jackscrew Island. We can lunch on Jackscrew Island before making the short crossing back to Salt Spring Island where we'll follow its shoreline back to our launch. Total distance will be approximately 8 miles or so.
