  • Active club members with wet exit certification, including kayaking professional and lifetime. Provisional acceptance pending approval by the trip organizer.

Narrative: We will launch from Fernwood Point Beach which has both a gravel beach and dock launch option. After launching we will travel north along the East side of SSI for about 1.5 miles and then do a crossing of about 1 mile to Wallace Island Marine Park. We will stop at both Conover Cove and Princess Cove taking our break at one of these locations. There will be time to explore more of the coast of Wallace Island before crossing back to the East side of SSI and then return to our takeout. Total distance of about 7-8 miles. Also a popular destination for local paddlers. No ferry crossing on this trip.
