Narrative: Prevost Island is a jewel among the Gulf Islands. Mostly rural, parts of it have been a sheep, goat, and cattle farm since the 1920's. It is similar in nature to Sucia Island in the San Juans, with many long deep lagoon like bays, rocky fingers, and a plethora of sea life, beautiful shorelines, and clear water. There is a small campground (likely lunch spot) and a lighthouse.

We will launch from Beachside Drive – East of Ganges on Salt Spring Island. Coordinates: 48.86032, -123.46844. This is about a 15 nm trip.
