Narrative:
Join me for a trip to Yellow Island from Orcas Island's West Sound. We'll launch near the Orcas Island Yacht Club, cross over to the west side of the sound and paddle south past Victim and Double Island before reaching Caldwell Point at the southern tip of Orcas. From there we'll head west thru Pole Pass, move past Crane Island towards McConnell Island before reaching Yellow Island. The Nature Conservancy owns and operates the 11 acre preserve and it is considered one of its most colorful islands. We will return using the same route.
