Activity Title: Crooked River Day Use To Round Butte Dam L2 ( Lake Billy Chinook event)
Date of Activity: 5/17/2024
Narrative: This is an eight mile round trip from a sandy beach near Crooked River day use area. We'll paddle north towards Round Butte Dam, then return along the same route.

This trip goes through scenic steep canyons. This also means there will be limited take-out options, although there is a floating bathroom near the dam. If possible, we'll take out in the cove near the dam for lunch. If not, we'll improvise.

This will be a leisurely paddle with no fast water.
