Activity Title: Fox Island - South Puget Sound L3
Date of Activity: 4/13/2024
Narrative: Explore Fox Island in south Puget Sound. Launching from Titlow Beach, Tacoma, we will cross to Fox Island and circumnavigate it in a clockwise direction.
Bring wheels if you have them as there is a bit of distance from parking to the beach. There is no charge for parking and there are bathroom facilities nearby. There is also a freshwater shower at the launch point to rinse of after we are back.
Plan on a 3kt pace while we are paddling. We will stop 3 or 4 times along the way. The total distance is about 14nm or 16 statute miles.
Note: The tides dictate an 8:30am launch time. Please arrive in time to be ready to be on the water by 8:30. We cannot wait if you are late.
