Full Name: Fred Harsman
Activity Title: Strokes Class L1
Date of Activity: 5/7/2024
Narrative: Neil and I have done this 4 session class 5 times to good reviews and we are ready to do it again. We will be covering boat dynamics and body positioning in relation to bracing, edging and go over a variety of strokes. These will include but not limited to bow rudder, cross bow rudder, sweep stokes , draw strokes , efficient forward and reverse strokes . We will also stress the proper blade articulation in rudder strokes including the stern rudder. We will go over when to use a brace in current and which edge is used . We also will cover a draw on the move and play around with blending strokes for efficient turning and travel. We will probably get some organic rescue practice as well.
