OOPS Friends! (and soon to be friends, these meetings are open to anyone interested in OOPS)
The time has come! We're going to try out hybrid meetings! You asked for options so we're going do our best to make that happen. When you click to register you'll see you can select from in-person or virtual meeting participation. Both formats are subject to tech issues so please be patient with your all volunteer team making these and all OOPS activities possible. Please register for the format you'll be using so we can have a sense of how many folks to expect in either location.
Joining from home? We'll open the zoom room at 6:30 for casual conversation and themed breakout rooms for smaller discussions. We'll start with the main presentation at 7:00 and wrap up around 8:00 ish. If you want to join this way you MUST register at least 24 hours in advance or risk not receiving the link to join the meeting.
Joining from the Multnomah Village Lucky Lab? We'll be ready for you to join us upstairs at 6:30 for social time. This is also your time to grab a slice and a beverage (bring your $$, this is a no-host situation). We'll start with the main presentation at 7:00 and wrap up around 8:00 ish.
About this meeting...
Since it's been awhile since we've been together AND we're a tad nervous about the tech needs to make a hybrid meeting happen, this meeting will showcase the amazing, glamorous, multi-talented, and fun OOPS Board Members!
In addition to time to connect with people who are attending the format you've chosen to join, you'll also meet the OOPS Board! You'll hear about the OOPS Events for 2023, learn about education offerings, find out how to lead paddles for OOPS, hear about top-secret member-only benefits, ask questions, get answers, and more! And....I hear there are some fabulous prizes in store for folks both in-person and online.
Comments, questions, ideas, offers of help? Send them my way!
Accessibility information: Please email me to let me know if you have any accessibility needs and we'll do our best to meet them. Note, the Multnomah Village Lucky Lab has stairs and no elevator to reach the meeting space (we're working on finding an affordable, accessible space). There is a small parking lot at this location and somewhat limited street parking. Please plan for time to find a place to park. We will enable automatic captions on our zoom event, and use microphones in the meeting space.
