Full Name:david smith Activity Title: N. Fork Reservoir Paddle L1, 1-23-22 Date of Activity: 1/23/2022 Narrative: Please join Mel Wishan and me on Sunday, January 23rd for paddle on the N. Fork Reservoir located on the Clackamas River at the edge of Mt Hood National Forest. It's about an hour's drive southeast of Portland on Hwy 224. The Promontory Marina is currently closed, so we're likely to be the only boaters enjoying the beauty of this pristine area in the foothills of Oregon's cascade range. Since the marina and boat ramp will be closed, we'll meet at the Culvert Swimming Area on the eastside of Hwy 224 about a mile before the marina. It's a small bay that connects to the reservoir thru a short tunnel under the highway. There are no restrooms or parking fees.
