Registration is closed

This trip is limited to members with a wet exit certification.  To successfully register you will need to sign into your OOPS member account, and your account will need to be a member of the "Wet Exit Certified" group.  Your acceptance is conditional on approval by the Organizer, who may contact you with questions about your skills and equipment.  If the measured water temperature is different enough from that listed below to warrant a change in required immersion protection, the Organizer will contact all participants and the Trips Board member with the update at least a day before the trip.
Narrative: I want to go from San Salvador Park to Champoeg State Park. This is about an 11 mile trip. San Salvador is 1800 Horseshoe Lake Rd NE, St Paul, OR 97137. Champoeg State Park has one dock landing from what I know and that is our takeout. Champoeg does require a state parking pass.

Shuttle will start from San Salvador at 9:00 am. Please be ready to get in cars at 9am and start shuttle. Going to have some people help us with the shuttle so we can all have our cars at take out. Don't be late.

Winds are looking pretty light, under 6mph, but will be cooler. Dry suits are required. Could be some boat traffic this time of year, supposed to be a nice day. I do plan on crossing the river a few times, but we will do this crossing in a group.

I have not done some of these sections. I am figuring that we can take lunch at Rogers Landing in Newberg. Paddle is about 11 miles. Please be able to keep up with the group

This is a group paddle. If you are not a group paddle person, that is awesome, but this trip is probably not for you.
