Steve Blackwood and Chris Mayou will put in at Cedaroak Boat Ramp and paddle up the Willamette River to Willamette Falls. The trip up river will not present too much challenge as we can eddy hop up the river. We can explore the currents around the falls as the individual paddler feels comfortable. There are some very strong currents close to the falls but we can stay in the eddies that provide calm water for those who do not feel comfortable with the faster water. Bring a helmet if you plan on getting in the faster water. Bring a tow belt if you have one and know how to use it. Free parking and bathrooms at Cedaroak boat ramp. Bring water and lunch.
