  • Active club members, including kayaking professional and lifetime. Provisional acceptance, pending approval by the trip organizer if this is a paddle

Registration is closed

To successfully register you will need to sign into your OOPS member account, and your account will need to be a member of the "Wet Exit Certified" group if you intend to wear a spray skirt.  Your acceptance is conditional on approval by the Organizer, who may contact you with questions about your skills and equipment.  If the measured water temperature is different enough from that listed below to warrant a change in required immersion protection, the Organizer will contact all participants and the Trips Board member with the update at least a day before the trip.

Activity Title: Boons Ferry Marina to Willamette Park
Date of Activity: 9/24/2019
Narrative: This will be my second attempt at this trip since thunder storms canceled the first try. We will meet at Boones Ferry Marina and Boat Ramp near Wilsonville at 9:00am and set up a car shuttle for our take out at Willamette Park in West Linn. There are restrooms at both Boones Ferry and Willamette Park. Parking at Boones Ferry Boat Ramp is $5.00 and takes credit cards. We will follow the river downstream enjoying the current assist of the river, stopping at Hebb Park for lunch. We can explore the narrows, but the flow is moderate at 56 feet which will not be enough to challenge us too much. Take out will be at Willamette Park. Bring water and lunch.
