Registration

  • Active club members, including kayaking professional and lifetime. Provisional acceptance, pending approval by the trip organizer

Registration is closed
This trip is limited to members with a wet exit certification.  To successfully register, you will need to sign into your OOPS member account, and your account will need to be a member of the "Wet Exit Certified" group.  Your acceptance is conditional on approval by the Organizer, who may contact you with questions about your skills and equipment.  If the measured water temperature is different enough from that listed below to warrant a change in required immersion protection, the Organizer will contact all participants and the Trips Board member with the update at least a day before the trip. As with all level 3 trips, this will be waitlist-only, to allow the Organizer to verify skill level of participants.

Narrative: Come explore Cascade head this weekend. The waves look to be small (2ft or under on avg.) and there won't be much for wind (less than 10 mph). This will be a great opportunity to explore Cascade Head area and possibly Sea Cave. We may end up heading towards God Thumb to explore or head north to arches and coves. Please bring a lunch as we will plan on stopping around 1 PM. We made helmets required due to the nature of landing in small surf and sea cave. If you have a tow rope please bring, but not required.

Please contact me directly if you are not sure if this will be a good trip for you. See you on the water.
