Registration is closed

This trip is limited to members with a wet exit certification. To successfully register you will need to sign into your OOPS member account, and your account will need to be a member of the "Wet Exit Certification" group.  Your acceptance is conditional on approval by the Organizer, who may contact you with questions about your skills and equipment.  If the measured water temperature is different enough from that listed below to warrant a change in required immersion protection, the Organizer will contact all participants and the Trips Board member with the update at least a day before the trip.
Narrative:
Join us for a mellow along the shores of Lake Merwin to Canyon Creek. We will meet at the Speelyai Park boat ramp at 9:00am and launch at 9:30am, paddling east along the shore under the bridge and past water falls towards Canyon Creek. We'll stop along the way for lunch and breaks as needed. Speelyai Park has bathrooms and there is no parking fee at the boat ramp Monday to Thursday. When parking, be sure to use the single-car spaces and not the boat parking spaces (unless you’ve brought a trailer). Directions: Take I-5 exit 21 from Woodland, WA towards Cougar (SR503 east). Speelyai Park and boat launch is about 21 miles from I-5 and is marked on the right.
