This trip is limited to members with a wet exit certification.  To successfully register you will need to sign into your OOPS member account, and your account will need to be a member of the "Wet Exit Certified" group.  Your acceptance is conditional on approval by the Organizer, who may contact you with questions about your skills and equipment.  If the measured water temperature is different enough from that listed below to warrant a change in required immersion protection, the Organizer will contact all participants and the Trips Board member with the update at least a day before the trip


Narrative: You’re invited to join Mel Wishan and Chris Mayou, ACA Level 2 instructors, for a one-day Level 2 stroke improvement class. This course will be taught according to ACA guidelines. We may paddle two miles upstream to Goat Island, working on strokes along the way. If so, we'll continue our stroke practice there and have lunch. We may practice some rescues at the end of the day in the lagoon by Cedaroak Boat Ramp. Be water-ready by 9:15 a.m. We'll be on the water from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a half-hour lunch break. PARKING IS LIMITED. If the single-car spaces are full, drop off you boat and gear and park up the hill. It's less than a five-minute walk back down.
